This is not what I would consider "smoked silver". I was expecting. I was expecting something well.. silver toned. What you get is more of a light bronze color. Its got a brown to it. Unfortunately I am designing a monochromatic room in my house so I will be painting this item. I have yet to assemble this and I will leave another comment on how that goes. Be beware, its not silver!
